In a small orb web among green shrubs
Probably too small to be hazardous
This species is reputed to destroy its web at the end of each night, occupy a retreat by day then rebuild the web next evening.
Known Range: Recorded as being in bush settings in Queensland and NSW but allegedly even occasionally seen as far down as Tasmania.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Araneus talipedatus.
