This species is usually found on the surfaces of leaves in green garden shrubs but, like other oxyopids, is very mobile (sharing with salticids the ability to jump) and thus may be found in unexpected places; it builds no web snares or retreats but uses silk in its egg sacs

This oxyopid has a grey-white or silvery appearance because of white scales that cover its body but are easily rubbed off.
Spider(s) with a very similar appearance: Oxyopes elegans and several other oxyopid species.
